EAST SIDE HOUSING OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM

Esperanza’s Success Story

Esperanza is a strong and enthusiastic parent that has overcome many obstacles in life including homelessness. With the assistance of the East Side Opportunity Program staff and the Housing Trust Fund Program, Esperanza was able to attain stable housing that meets the needs of her family of five. Since on the program she has remained determined to make progress in many areas of her life along with the encouragement from her significant other Daryll. She diligently sought employment and is currently employed with a position she enjoys and plans on it remaining stable. Esperanza is meeting the challenge of balancing the many aspects of working, parenting and remaining stable in her housing. She takes full advantage of the many events and Life Skills classes to enrich her family’s lives and gain education on the variety of topics covered.
